In celebration of Coming Out Day (October 11, 2021), 500 Women Scientists has partnered with the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) to organize a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon to increase the representation of LGBTQ+ professionals in STEM. Since Wikipedia is “the world’s largest free encyclopedia,” we want to add more LGBTQ+ visibility to the website to highlight work done in the community. We invite editors from all specialities and backgrounds to contribute new articles and highlight profiles of LGBTQ+ professionals in STEM. Learn more on ASEE’s website.
