Kelly Ramirez

Kelly Ramirez (she/her) is the co-founder of 500 Women Scientists and is a microbial ecologist studying the effects of global changes on plant-microbe interactions. Follow her on twitter @drkellysierra.

Melissa Creary

Melissa Creary, PhD, MPH is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy in the School of Public Health. She received her PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies (focusing on Health, History, and Culture) at the Graduate Institute for the Liberal Arts (ILA) and Masters in Public Health at Emory University.

Jill Blackfod

Jill Blackford has over a decade of experience working in philanthropy and is currently the Program Manager for the Nasdaq Foundation. She has also supported responsible tech and AI at the Mozilla Foundation, informal STEM education at the Simons Foundation, economic research at the Institute for New Economic Thinking, education in southern and eastern Africa with the ELMA Philanthropies, and research on nonprofit and foundation issues at the Aspen Institute. She holds a Masters of International Affairs focused in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelors degree in International Relations from Boston University.

Stefanie Bodison

Dr. Stefanie Bodison (she/her) is an assistant professor in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida. Juniper Simonis

Juniper (they/them) Simonis is a freelance quantitative ecologist at DAPPER Stats, data analyst in the Weecology Lab at the University of Florida, and two-time roller derby world champion with the Rose City Rollers. A former muddy boots ecologist, Juniper’s work these days focuses on applying mathematical tools to estimate population dynamics, often of imperiled species. Theresa Jedd

Theresa Jedd is a political scientist specializing on the impacts of climate change, specifically the ways that drought is governed. Her research spans from the community to the international level.
