To continue celebrating National Mentoring Month, this week’s #TakeActionTuesday is focused on recognizing and thanking the mentors in our life. #ThankYouTuesday

2. Nominate a mentor for an award this year. Many professional societies, universities, and colleges have awards that recognize graduate students, staff, and faculty who support the scientific community, both in scholarship and in service. Look up these upcoming deadlines and start putting together a nomination package.
3. Support current and future generations of mentors by donating to 500 Women Scientists’ Fellowship for the Future. Our fellowship recognizes and amplifies the important projects that women of color lead to help STEM be more equitable, accessible, and socially just. We need your help to raise enough funds to support the first cohort of leaders.
