Wow, what a fantastic few weeks this has been. Over 11k signatures from 90 countries! The support and encouragement from the community is more than any of us could have hoped for. Thank you friends!
In case you missed something, here's what happened during the last two weeks:
What we've done:
500 Women Scientists received a bit of press: in the Washington Post, the BBC, Scientific American, and a few more! Check out our News page for all the links.
We interviewed the scientist-photographer behind our photos.
The pledge is now translated into five other languages: Spanish, Portuguese, German, French and Dutch (with more coming soon!).
500 Women Scientists is planning to join the Women's March on Washington, more information in the coming weeks.
Spread the word! We now have stickers, posters of the Pledge, and presentation slides (contact us for more info).

What we like:
December 3 is the United Day of Women!
Something to keep in mind.
Could you be on an all-female expedition to Antarctica in the next 10 years?
- Grants for women in science.
Strong together, check out the TogetherList.
End the week with a smile. #WhatIReallyReallyWant
